--A Wichita, Kansas, jury found 51 year old Scott Roeder guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of late term abortionist George Tiller, 67, in May of 2009. Roeder confessed that the shooting took place at point-blank range at the Reformation Lutheran Church where Mr. Tiller was a parishioner.
--In his “State of the Union” speech Wednesday evening, President Obama promised to work with Congress and the military to repeal the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy banning open homosexuals from serving in the military.
--A botched legal abortion kills a 37 year old Hispanic woman at an abortion center in Queens, N.Y.
--The public interest “watchdog” firm known as Judicial Watch has obtained Air Force documents detailing Nancy Pelosi’s use of Air Force aircraft for congressional delegations. Over a two year period, her travel expenses amounted to over 2 million dollars.
