Moms Talk Modesty

Julie LaPierre is a home school mother and freelance artist from the Kansas City area. She's also the publisher of EverydayMommy.net.
Miss California, Carrie Prejean, was ostracized by liberal commentators for giving the conservative view of marriage as being between one man and one woman during the Miss USA Pageant. Her battle to defend her position has made her a popular spokesperson. The problem is, her attire was anything but conservative, a point that even non-Christians obviously see as contradictory.
This is the jumping off point that leads Ingrid and Julie to look at various avenues within the topic of modesty. These avenues include:
--How culture has impacted female attire at every age level
--How boys and men view immodest dress
--A brief examination of the Moms for Modesty mission statement
--What you can do to make a difference at home, church, and with retailers
...and much more.
