Spiritual Warfare and New Ageism

Host:Brannon Howse

This edition of Crosstalk begins with news about the continuing coverage regarding the passing of long-time newscaster Walter Cronkite, a man who Brannon indicates had a "globalist" worldview.

Brannon then moves on to the main topic by giving listeners some background on occultist Alice Bailey who died in 1949. She eventually became one of the most well known founders of contemporary New Age thought. Her writings were inspired by a demon. However, occultists and New Agers believe these are ascended masters; people who have evolved to a higher spiritual plane and not harmful demonic entities. Bailey's worldview lives on and her writings have influenced people such as Marianne Williamson, Helen Schucman, and Oprah Winfrey.

As these "ascended masters" communicate through various New Age writers, they often use the phrase, "new order". Brannon explains how they are helping to lay the foundation for the coming of a one world religion, a one world political structure, a one world leader, and the new world order.
