North Korea vs. the World: A Rogue Regime Goes Nuclear

Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with word from Concerned Women for America that Judge David Hamilton is to be voted on tomorrow in the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is the judge who, in 2005, ordered the Speaker of the Indiana House to immediately stop the practice of sectarian prayers at the opening of the legislative session. Judge Hamilton said the prayers were "too Christian" yet later concluded that praying in the name of Allah would be fine.

Retired Major General Jerry R. Curry is a decorated combat veteran who has also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense in the Carter Administration, Press Secretary to the Secretary of Defense in the Reagan Administration, and Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the first Bush Administration. He has a B.A. from the University of Nebraska/Omaha, an M.A. in International Relations from Boston University, and a Doctorate from Luther Rice Seminary.

News agencies have been informing the American public that an intercontinental missile is being assembled at a launch site in North Korea. So why has North Korea insisted on such "sabre rattling" lately? Major General Curry discusses this and other aspects of the North Korean situation including:

--The shifting of power from Kim Jong Il to his son Kim Jong Un.
--The China/North Korean connection.
--The possible threat to the United States and our options for handling the situation.
--The United Nations response.
--Other rogue nations, such as Iran, going in the same direction...and much more.
