Discussion begins with Brannon Howse introducing national talk show host Jan Markel of Olive Tree Ministries. Her latest article is entitled, "Conservatism Won't Save America". Brannon informed Jan and listeners about the latest news that Ralph Reed, who helped build the Christian Coalition, is starting a new "values voters" organization.
From here their discussion moves to the idea that Brannon often communicates; that Christians can't expect to reclaim the culture if they can't reclaim the church. He stresses that Christians need to go beyond debating politics and back to the law of the Divine as put forth by America's founders.
As the show moves along, Brannon and Jan discuss the Emergent Church phenomenon, the book called The Shack, Rick Warren's missing gospel, and audio clips from author Joel Rosenberg who comments on Iran.
