On this edition of Crosstalk, Vince Schmucki of Wisconsinites Interests Now, unveiled his testimony that has led to an effort to recall Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle.
Why a recall of governor Doyle? Vince notes that Governor Doyle has put Wisconsin citizens under the burden of a budget deficit that's just under 6.7 billion dollars. Keep in mind that this is a state and not a federal budget deficit amount.
According to Chris Kliesmet of Citizens for Responsible Government, elections give people the right to "hire" political officials, while recalls give them the right to "fire" them. So regardless of where you live, join Vic and his guests and learn how you can make a difference for responsible government in your state.
