Best of Crosstalk (First Aired May 20, 2009)

Host:Brannon Howse
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Does it matter if a nominee or member of the United States Supreme Court is an open homosexual? The possibility exists that Barack Obama could appoint just such an individual to replace the departing David Souter.

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama has communicated that he doesn't care if the nominee is an open homosexual. In addition, Focus on the Family has said that they will not oppose any nominee on the basis of their sexual orientation.

Many Christians are aware of what the Bible says concerning homosexuality and what it says concerning the character of leaders in various areas of life. But what did key individuals in the era of our nation's founders have to say about homosexuality? Brannon Howse examines the historical warnings that cry out to us from the past and how they can benefit us in our choice of leaders today.
