A Purpose Driven Obama Presidency?

This Crosstalk features the presentation/discussion of a few key news stories as presented by Ingrid Schlueter.

-A Mississippi sixth grader, originally penalized for mentioning Jesus in his poem, eventually given a perfect grade.

-Efforts are underway to push forward a homosexual Secretary of the Navy.

The key story dealt with Purpose Driven author, Rick Warren, who will be giving the invocation at President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration. Ingrid noted how Warren has made recent sharp comments in favor of the pro-life position. Considering the fact that Obama is stridently pro-abortion, those in both the homosexual lobby, as well as some within Christianity, are questioning just how sincere Obama is toward their causes. This raises concern over whether Rick Warren is attempting to invent some type of neutral ground in the culture war.

Near the end of the program Ingrid read startling news from an established financial website known as Marketwatch.com. The story told of a large, bright star that will be appearing in the very near future, both day and night, for all the world to see. About a week later, Maitreya, the "world teacher" for all humanity, will begin his "open emergence." Although he will not yet be using the Maitreya moniker, he will then be interviewed on a major U.S. television program.
