In addition to voting for a new president, one-third of the U.S. Senate and all 435 congressional seats are up for vote, as well as the position of governor in 11 states. Numerous states also have specific ballot issues dealing with topics including abortion, assisted suicide, marriage, adoption, gambling, stem cell research, and more.
Jim also details stories dealing with the integrity of the voting, people in Kenya praying for an Obama victory, Castro praises Obama but stops short of an endorsement, and more.
The remainder of the program features input from callers telling the nation who they will or did vote for, along with the most important issue that swayed their decision.
