Christian Parenting During Economic Difficulties
| Host: | Vic Eliason |

Because of the prosperity of America, kids today are living in a "virtual environment": an environment of enhancement, great luxuries and convenience. The problem is, for young people to expect life to always be this way or to feel that anything less is burdensome is unrealistic.
Boys and girls need to know that being frugal is important, especially in times like these when the economy is faltering. With that in mind, Vic asked listeners to think about whether we are giving our kids too much. Do they know what reality is? Under tough economic times, how will families cope after being used to so much affluence?
Vic takes calls from Crosstalk listeners who share their memories of more frugal times, comments concerning bad habits kids should avoid, and calls from parents sharing what they're doing to establish appreciation in their children for the blessings of God.
