Sarah Palin Acceptance Speech / Operation Nehemiah Update

To open this Crosstalk, Vic reviewed the needs of the Nehemiah Trumpet Call. Nehemiah Trumpet Call is the Sudan radio outreach that was discussed on yesterday's Crosstalk. This station is operating on low power because of the high cost of generator fuel to operate the transmitter.

Vic reminded listeners to prayerfully consider giving to the need of $44,000 for solar cell based, energy generating equipment for the station. As this Crosstalk ended, the total amount pledged was $31,470.

Last evening Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention attracted a record 30 million television viewers. As he presented audio sound bites from the speech, Vic opened the phone lines to let Crosstalk listeners express their feelings about Governor Palin and her presentation.
