India Missions Persecution / Ray Boltz "Outed" / Janeane Garofalo
| Host: | Ingrid Schlueter |
| Listen: | RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD |
Ingrid began this edition of Crosstalk by mentioning a great tool to help people build up their faith via the hearing of God's Word. The "Go Bible" is an iPod device that contains the entire text of Scripture.
Ingrid then presented a number of current news stories that listeners could comment on later in the program. She began by reporting that Hindu and Muslim extremists are on the rampage in India, engaging in violence against Christians. She detailed the current situation via information obtained from K.P. Yohannan of Gospel for Asia.
Next, Ingrid gave listeners a peek into Thursday's Crosstalk topic. The content of that program will center around the growing acceptance of mysticism in the evangelical church today.
The next news item involved gospel singer Ray Boltz, who recently announced in the Washington Blade that he is a homosexual.
The final topic dealt with Hollywood activist Janeane Garofalo who, on a recent TV program, said that Republicans believe in nothing decent and should all be locked up.
