Matt reported that there's a distinct possibility that liberals in the U.S. Senate could once again attempt to attach hate crimes legislation to the Defense Authorization Bill. If it passes it would restrict what people of faith can say and do publicly.

The 14th Amendment already guarantees citizens equal protection under the law. Instead, what hate crimes do is grant special minority and protective status to homosexuals based upon their sexual preferences and behaviors.
