Randy Thomasson is the Founder and President of Campaign for Children and Families which is a strategic, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization standing up for children and families in the state of California as well as the rest of the nation.
Randy believes that so much of what we see coming from party conventions amounts to imagery, rhetoric, feelings and personality. We need to get passed all this and find out what the candidates will do for you or to you when one of them becomes president.
A great way to do just that is to examine the research collected by the Campaign for Children and Families. They've compiled a non-partisan Presidential Report Card that looks at eight areas where the candidates stand on the issues. The categories include: partial birth abortion, parental notification of abortion, marriage protection on the ballot, homosexual indoctrination of school children, homosexual adoptions, gun owner rights, strict constructionist judges vs. activist judges, and the issue of raising taxes.
If you're looking to clear up any issues gaps you have in your knowledge of either John McCain or Barack Obama, listen to this edition of Crosstalk, then visit the website listed below.
