Dr. Alan Cairns is a preacher from the Free Presbyterian Church denomination. He started in Northern Ireland, then moved to the U.S., and was the pastor at Faith Free Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina, for many years. He is now Pastor Emeritus of that congregation. He's also the speaker on the "Let the Bible Speak" broadcast that airs weekdays at 7am Central Time on the VCY America Network. Dr. Cairns spoke at VCY Rally in April of this year, and this broadcast focuses on key portions of his speech from that rally.
Beginning with Romans 1:16, Dr. Cairns defines what the gospel is, and challenges listeners to remember that although many things in life may change, we must hold fast to the gospel, and to proclaim it, unashamedly, as the apostle Paul did.
