Larry Pratt is the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America.
At the end of June, in the case of D.C. vs. Heller, the Supreme Court overturned the handgun and trigger lock ban in the Washington, D.C. area. Larry Pratt appeared on Crosstalk to respond to yesterday's action by the D.C. City Council to implement emergency legislation. This action will implement a number of unconstitutional points including: Keeping the gun license requirement, retaining the semiautomatic ban, and placing new ballistics, testing and fingerprint requirements for those desiring to exercise their right to own a gun for self-defense.
Peter LaBarbera is the president of Americans for Truth.
On Monday's Crosstalk, Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association appeared on Crosstalk to discuss its boycott of McDonald's due to their $20,000 grant given to a homosexual businessmen's association.
In a follow up on that subject, Peter LaBarbera's informed listeners about a press conference yesterday of pro-family groups gathered at McDonald's world headquarters that was ignored by the major media.
Peter stressed that Americans for Truth is concerned about McDonald's corporate policies, such as their support of domestic partner legislation as well as the promotion of transsexual lifestyles.
