Listeners Critique the Presidential Candidates

Host:Jim Schneider
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

To open the program, Jim Schneider announced that the California Supreme Court, in a 4-3 vote, has denied a stay in the case of homosexual marriages. This means homosexual marriages will become legal in California beginning June 16th.

Barack Obama now has enough delegate support to obtain the nomination at the Democratic National Convention. However, Hillary Clinton has yet to concede victory.

John McCain is the GOP nominee, but is he perceived to be stronger than George W. Bush and distinct enough from Obama to win the election? The remainder of this Crosstalk dealt primarily with the views of listeners and how they feel about the candidates of the major parties, and of some "third parties", as we head toward the presidential conventions.
