Because of the technology of television, video games, music, and movies, kids are often placed in virtual environments where a great amount of what they see is often sinful in what it communicates. The question is, what affect is this near constant barrage of stimulus having on our children?
With so much stimulating our kids today, parents are sometimes led to medical experts that recommend psychotropic drugs in order to obtain more "normal" behavior as opposed to what's often called "hyperactive" behavior. True, sometimes medical help is necessary but are we, as parents, part of this stimulus problem?
These and other aspects of the stimulus problem highlight this Crosstalk, a program that reminds listeners, as a man..."thinketh in his heart, so is he." In other words, as our children take life in through their eyes and ears, are we making sure what they see and hear builds up their minds for God's purposes or corrupts their minds?
