Chris Simcox is the president of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) is a peaceful, law-abiding citizen-led initiative organized to stand watch at our nation's borders and in neighborhoods, report illegal activities to the proper authorities, and aid in the construction of border fencing on private lands using private donations. Additionally, MCDC seeks to urge local and federal officials to enforce our immigration laws in order to keep our families and country safe. MCDC conducts border watch operations that assist the activities of the U.S. Border Patrol, reports employers of illegal aliens, and advocates to keeps tax dollars from being used for illegal alien benefits.

Dr. Alan Keyes recently made it public that he is leaving the Republican party. He chose Hazleton, Pennsylvania, to make the announcement because of their stand against illegals and the importance this subject carries in terms of America's survival. How is Hazleton an example to the rest of America?

On July 12, 2006, the Hazleton City Council approved an ordinance designed to show that they will not allow their city to be overrun by rampant illegal immigration. The ordinance denies licenses to businesses that employ illegal immigrants, fines landlords $1,000 for each illegal immigrant discovered renting their properties, and requires city documents to be in English only.

Chris comments on this story as well as the current status of the border fence, the North American Union factor, the latest information on the nation's two imprisoned border guards, Britain's immigration problem, John McCain's lack of action on illegal immigration, and more.
