Emergent Leaders Join Dalai Lama at Interspiritual Event

On April 15, Emerging Church authors and pastors Rob Bell and Doug Pagitt joined the Buddhist monk, the Dalai Lama and other leaders from world religions at the Seattle Seeds of Compassion Interspiritual Day. This marks the first open involvement of emerging church leaders at an openly interspiritual event.

Chris Rosebrough addresses the background of this bold new step into New Spirituality for Bell and Pagitt and gives an overview of where this is taking evangelicals.

The program also features interesting audio cuts from this event as well as a note concerning Monday's Crosstalk that will look at the Jesus-free official prayer created for the National Day of Prayer Task Force by Dr. Ravi Zacharias.
