Ingrid began this Crosstalk by briefly mentioning an ad that was printed by the "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" newspaper for a homo-erotic show being held at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin area in April. The ad is morally repugnant and mocks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Ingrid directed listeners to her blog site http://www.sliceoflaodicea.com for contact information.

The book, All for the Master: Reflections on the Stewardship of our Gifts, is a hard-back devotional by Daniel Celia. Daniel brings over 25 years of experience to his position as Executive Director of the Regency Foundation, a financial planning service attached to Philadelphia Biblical University. He has worked since 1981 developing estate plans, corporate retirement plans and investment strategies for individuals, corporations and institutions.
Daniel tries to get people to ponder what their foundation of stewardship is built upon. In 1st Corinthians 4, Paul points out that since we are believers in Jesus, we have an obligation to be stewards of the gospel first. He notes that if we remember this, all of our other stewardship; our time, talents and gifts, etc., should be built upon that foundation.
As the economy seems to head toward a recession, what reaction demonstrates good stewardship? Is there a way to know what companies have investment policies that violate biblical beliefs? How do we make good stewardship work on a practical level? Is gold a safe or speculative investment? Have we reached the bottom of the housing market? These questions and more are answered on this edition of Crosstalk.

Action Points
The "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" has been running an ad that promotes a homo-erotic play in a local theater. The ad, which was still in the paper on Good Friday, is not only crass and vulgar in its headline and language, it also denigrates Christianity and especially the Good News celebrated by Christians on Good Friday and Easter.
