Politics - California Home Schooling

Host:Vic Eliason
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

At the beginning of this Crosstalk, Vic Eliason reported on a peaceful protest that took place at 12 noon today in front of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal building. This was in response to a recent ad that ran promoting a homo-erotic show in the area along with the slur it contained against Jesus Christ.

Vic Eliason then presented the following news items for discussion by Crosstalk listeners:

-Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Pastor Emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where presidential candidate Barack Obama has been a member for over two decades, has now slurred Italians.

-Top Obama adviser compares Muslim terrorists to religious radicals in Oregon.

-Mitt Romney to do fund raising for presidential candidate John McCain.

-A California court order that had banned homeschooling has been vacated, and the judges that issued the ruling will hear further arguments on the status of parents that want to educate their own children.
