Ingrid Schlueter began this edition of Crosstalk by quoting Judges 2:10 which says: "And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord..." That verse adorns the cover of the book, One Nation Above God, by Shane Idleman.
One Nation Above God is a basic look at America's founders; their beliefs, their godliness, and what has happened to our nation.
For example, John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court said: "Unto Him who is the Author and Giver of all good, I render sincere and humble thanks for His merciful and unmerited blessings, and especially for our redemption and salvation by His beloved Son."
Ingrid then asked listeners to note the contrast of that statement with a comment made by a District Judge in Texas who decreed that any students saying the name of Jesus during high school graduation ceremonies would be jailed.
So if you're interested in how we can regain lost ground in order to rebuild the foundation of our nation, then you'll want to read, One Nation Above God.
Ingrid finished the program with a note encouraging listeners to participate in a peaceful gathering taking place at noon tomorrow (3/27) in front of the "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" building. The gathering is in response to an ad that ran recently promoting a blasphemous, homo-erotic show at an east side venue.
