NRB "Night of Comedy"
| Host: | Ingrid Schlueter |

Ingrid began this edition of Crosstalk by reviewing comments made to the media by VCY America founder Vic Eliason, who is currently attending the National Religious Broadcaster's Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
As a former president of Midwest NRB and having spent 18 years as an NRB board member, Vic's comments show that he's understandably concerned when we have a nation that's becoming increasingly hostile toward Christianity, yet the NRB is set to have Christian broadcasters crowd into the Delta Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland Resort tonight for a night of comedy.
Also discussed were comments made by author Gordon McDonald. McDonald addresses those in their 50's, 60's and 70's who feel disenfranchised by their current church. Mr. McDonald goes on to write that he feels these individuals need to learn how to "embrace change."
Ingrid followed this up by reading a letter entitled, "Wanted: An Old Fashioned Church." After this, she opened the phone lines so that listeners could respond and express whether or not this is the type of church they are looking for.
