This Crosstalk deals with the spiritual shift taking place in America, a shift that's attempting to move people away from a high and objective view of God and the Bible. The featured guest is Peter LaBarbera who is with Americans for Truth.
Much of the program looks at liberal Christian activist Jim Wallis whose latest book is entitled, The Great Awakening. In one part of the book, Wallis deconstructs and redefines the biblical truth about homosexuality. LaBarbera read from this portion of the book where Wallis advocates spiritual "blessings" for gay couples.
The reason that this is cause for concern is because LaBarbera also details the appearance of Wallis at Wheaton College where he was given a celebratory forum to expound his views.
