David Kupelian is the managing editor of WorldNetDaily, "Whistleblower" magazine, and he's also the author of the book, The Marketing of Evil. He appeared on Crosstalk because the January issue of "Whistleblower" magazine is dedicated to the subject of Witchcraft in America.
For decades in America we had religious traditions based upon Christianity and the Bible. These traditions, however, have been so maligned, a vacuum has been created which is being filled by everything from pagan religions to militant atheism.
One of the pagan systems filling the vacuum today is "Wicca", which is related to Witchcraft. David described Wicca as a polytheistic, female based religion that worships nature. It's the spiritual answer to feminism with worship geared to both the god and the goddess, although the female dominates the male. It was invented by an English civil servant named Gerald Gardner in the 1950's.
Why are we seeing such an interest in Witchcraft and Wicca nationwide? David describes our nation's situation like a plant where the growth light has been turned off and strange growths begin to appear on the plants as they slowly become a pale version of what they used to be. He describes how the "light" of western civilization, our Judeo-Christian values, has been removed. Now weird forms of "growth" have been forming in the darkness.
