How Christians Can Restore America

David Crowe is the Founder and Director of the non-profit, Oregon based, Restore America, an organization that began in 1999. Restore America is dedicated to restoring America's founding principles and awakening Christians to the citizenship responsibility of being salt and light.

David believes that America has lost its vision of being a nation truly under God; that we have listened far too long to the secularists and the talking heads that control the media.

David noted that God has called Christians to a much more responsible position even if we have to fight for it. For example, he cited some of the significant battles fought on behalf of our nation in 2007. These battles include the Islamic based war against terrorism, immigration and its effect on the economy, the nuclear concerns with Iran, the overt threat to Israel, and the weakness of our foreign policy.

On the family front, David feels there are efforts to redefine the fundamental institutions such as the family, marriage and morality.

David then discussed a Restore America conference coming up in February near Portland. The conference will deal with the 7 spheres of influence that shape and manage our communities and our nation's culture. They include: Family, Religion, Education, Media, Entertainment, Business and Government.
