This Crosstalk centers around a WorldNetDaily.com story dealing with a homeschool mother in Utah. Denise Mafi, was ordered by Judge Scott Johansen to enroll her children in a public school district within 24 hours all because of a paperwork glitch that could have been the fault of the district.

It's possible that an affidavit that Denise faxed to the school district for the 2006-2007 school year that documented her homeschooling plans, was lost by the district. So when she went to court with her juvenile son to have the charges dismissed under a case held in abeyance procedure stemming from a clash among children, she was suddenly presented with four counts for failing to comply with the state's compulsory education requirement.

The judge is also demanding that the children cannot miss school unless there's a notice from a doctor. In addition, he initially wanted to issue an order that Denise wouldn't be allowed to move out of his jurisdiction for two years.
