In the secular America today, everything old is new again. "Retro" is "in," especially in the music business. For some reason, in the contemporary Christian music world, this concept hasn't caught on. This may be due to the fact that this segment of the Christian population would have to recognize the great hymns of the faith, music that is falsely accused of being dry, dusty, and out of touch with modern times.

It's a shame that some Christians have this attitude because those who avoid hymns don't know what they're missing. Hymns are the music that formed the foundation for the Christian church, music that actually goes back to even earlier times if one wants to consider the Psalms.

Contrary to what some people may think, hymn recordings continue to be recorded for the public. One example is The Hymns Album, a recording that features the 200 voice Huddersfield Choral Society of England.

Ingrid featured a few selections from this album and offered a copy of it for those who appreciate these great musical treasures of the faith. Selections included: "Tell Out My Soul", "How Great Thou Art", and "Crown Him With Many Crowns"
