Paul Popov is the son of Harlan Popov, the man who wrote the book, Tortured for His Faith. Harlan was a Bulgarian pastor who was imprisoned by the communists for 16 years, leaving a wife and young child at home without a means of income. Anyone who helped the family was in danger of arrest by the secret police. Paul grew up hungry as a child, knowing what it is to suffer for Christ. When Paul's father was finally released, Paul worked under him, eventually taking over Door of Hope International, after his father's death.
On this Crosstalk, you'll find out what it was like for Paul to grow up with a father in prison, how he reworked cars so that they could carry Bibles into Eastern bloc countries, his desire to see the gospel spread in Islamic nations, and more interesting aspects of Paul's life, a life that continues to be used by God in a powerful way.
