Apologetics for Catastrophism and Genesis

Dr. John Whitcomb is the President of Whitcomb Ministries, Inc., the Founder and Professor of The Christian Workman School of Theology, a creation speaker for Answers in Genesis and coauthor of the book, The Genesis Flood, a book he wrote with the late Dr. Henry Morris.
Dr. Whitcomb is in the area to speak at the 4th Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries at 9am November 10th, at Calvary Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Apologetics is basically the acting out of 1 Peter 3:15. "Be ready always to give an answer..." But Dr. Whitcomb points out that the key is the first part of the verse--"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts." In other words, you are to be tuned in to God's Word first. Then you are ready to give an answer to every man that asks you for the hope that you have.
Then there are some very important qualifications. The apologetic is to be executed in meekness and fear and having a good conscience.
With that foundation clarified, the discussion moves into apologetics as it pertains to the worldwide catastrophe known as The Flood, Noah's Ark, the appearance of age built into the earth, the downward spiral of man's genetic quality, and more fascinating creation facts.
