As Vic noted, there are many schools of thought dealing with the future leadership of our nation. This is a critical issue to be considering because as Jim Schneider pointed out, we are less than 60 days away from the first primary that will take place in the state of Iowa.
In considering where we are on the presidential election time line, eventually some unifying factor has to rise to the surface in each party that will narrow the current field of candidates down to one for each political party.
Where do you stand at this time? Are you the type that is easily won over by candidates that seem to have election year conversions; candidates that embrace issues that are not part of their history? Or do these types of candidates cause you to be skeptical?
On another level, will you vote for a nominee from one party, regardless of where they stand, just to keep the nominee from the opposing party out of the White House? Will you, instead, vote for a third party candidate, or perhaps stay home?
With these thoughts in mind, Vic Eliason and Jim Schneider opened the phone lines to see where listeners stand on the issue of the positional confusion that seems to reign around numerous candidates within both parties.
