Jim opened this edition of Crosstalk with an update on federal hate crimes legislation and also the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).
Al Garza is the National Executive Director for the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.
According to Garza, out of five people that come across the U.S./Mexican border, three will be apprehended. Of those three that are apprehended and deported, two will return on the same day or up to a week later.
Why is this happening? Garza believes special interest groups are using the hispanic umbrella to condone and advocate illegal activity. This, according to Garza, has resulted in virtually wide open borders. This is being helped along by sanctuary cities and other magnets that are drawing illegals across the borders.
Garza also believes that Bush has close ties with Mexico and that he's knuckled down to organizations that use political force to allow and demand that the borders remain open.
The Minuteman Civil Defense Corp does not make arrests. Instead they observe, spot and direct federal border authorities to illegal aliens crossing the U.S./Mexican border. They have also executed 310 rescues and have distributed over 20,000 gallons of water in addition to giving medical aid, shelter, and food.
From diseases coming over the border, to the costs to taxpayers for illegal aliens, and more, this Crosstalk is loaded with information that you will want to share with your local, state and national legislators.
