Push Toward a North American Union

Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon joined Vic Eliason to discuss the reality of the NAFTA Superhighway.
Senator Brogdon believes this highway is part of a movement to build a North American Union. It began with the Security and Prosperity Partnership that Bush helped implement in 2005 with Canada and Mexico. In fact, Brogdon quoted President Bush as having said that his goal is to "...merge and integrate the trade and security barriers of the United States."
In order for this economic partnership with Canada and Mexico to become reality, the NAFTA Superhighway must be built. On this front, Brogdon mentioned The North American Super Corridor Coalition (NASCO), an organization that, on the front page of their website, states that their mission is to build the world's first international, intermodel transportation system.
If you're interested in the possible ramifications of the building of this superhighway, you'll want to listen to this edition of Crosstalk.
