Mike Geffre's story is documented in the tract, From Dope to Hope.
Mike grew up in a large Catholic family that resided in Bismark, North Dakota, a family that was led by an alcoholic and abusive father. This poor testimony led him to quit high school and dive into a life of alcohol, drugs and immoral living, a lifestyle that eventually led to thoughts of suicide.
Realizing he needed to make changes, he tried to quit drugs but couldn't get off of them by himself. Then in 1979, while working as an electrician, the client he was working for showed him how he could have a personal relationship with Christ. In 3 months Mike became drug and alcohol free but bitterness still needed to be dealt with. This too, was covered by the blood of Christ as Mike will tell you when you listen to his amazing testimony on this edition of Crosstalk.
