Best of Crosstalk (First Aired August 29, 2007)

David Crowe is the Executive Director of Restore America. Restore America is an organization that represents a call to the body of Christ that we have a citizenship responsibility to be a nation under God.

David's main topic of discussion centered around petitions being passed in the state of Oregon that are designed to protect marriage and morality. This is in spite of the fact that the state passed a constitutional amendment by a margin of 57% to 43% saying that marriage is between a man and a woman only. The problem is, with a liberal Democrat controlled legislature and a liberal governor, they saw their opportunity to introduce two bills creating another form of marriage giving many benefits over to homosexual domestic partnerships.

HB 2007, for example, will become law on January 1, 2008, if 57,000 signatures aren't accumulated in order to put this on the ballot for the general election in November of 2008.

David is looking for pastors that will lead and tell their congregations what's really happening; pastors that are more concerned about perhaps offending God by not standing up for biblical principles.
