Young People for Christ

Host:Ingrid Schlueter
Guest:Sam Guzman
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Sam Guzman is a 19 year old columnist with http://christianworldviewnetwork.com as well as a student at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Sam sees a confusion amidst his generation regarding what truth is and how young people should live. He mentions the popular notion where some believe there is no such thing as absolute truth because as he also points out, that worldview has consequences.

Sam also notes how legalism can seem like the solution when in fact, all this does is make young people think they are ok with God when in fact God wants their hearts, not just their actions.

As a contrast and as a life to look up to, the life and ministry of Hudson Taylor was discussed. Taylor went to China at a young age, trusting in God for his total support.

Do you want to have uncommon courage for Christ and a heart for God? That is the challenge for young people on this program, and callers lend their thoughts on the subject as well on this edition of Crosstalk.
