What's the solution to Chinese products that are overwhelming our marketplace? Why are country of origin labeling laws so inconsistently obeyed, especially as it pertains to food products?
Inspection seems like the answer but Phyllis believes the manpower simply doesn't exist to inspect more than about one-percent of our food. This is important because Phyllis says the Chinese don't have sanitary and safe water to begin with.
Should we have an import czar in charge of our imported products, especially food, or should we let American companies that rely on Chinese help, police themselves?
Callers join Ingrid and weigh in on this very important topic on this edition of Crosstalk.
