San Diego Firemen Ordered Into Gay Parade

Brian Rooney is the Communications Director for the Thomas More Law Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Brian reported that 4 Christian firefighters from San Diego called the Thomas More Law Center because they were told that they may have to participate in a gay pride parade. All 4 said they didn't want to be involved in the event, however, they were eventually told by their battalion chief to get in their uniforms because they were being ordered to participate.
Brian noted that this activity goes against the city's own sexual harassment policy, not to mention the fact that it violates the First Amendment rights of the firefighters. It's for these reasons that the Thomas More Law Center is representing these public servants.
