The Evangelical Compromise on Abortion

Former New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani, received a standing ovation for a recent speech given at Pat Robertson's Regent University. He received this appreciation in spite of the fact that he does not hold conservative positions on abortion, gay rights and gun control.
Jim Schneider read news stories from numerous sources showing Giuliani's flip-flop on Roe v. Wade and Pat Robertson's gushing over Giuliani's leadership skills.
Is this good Christian planning for a national election? Are these negotiable issues? Is it proper for born-again Christians to vote for a candidate that has pro-choice leanings? Is America on its own Mount Carmel, halting between two positions?
Listeners contribute their comments on the evangelical compromise on this edition of Crosstalk.
