Teachers Union Dues, Caring for Comatose Patients, and Student Rights to Pray

Janet opened the program discussing the following news stories:

-Senator Kennedy attempts to gather the necessary votes to override a presidential veto over hate crimes legislation.

-John Kerry also agrees that politicians need to take a new look at talk radio.

-In Ohio, you can't pray in the name of Jesus in the State Legislature.

Connie Bancroft of Teachers Saving Children joined Janet to talk about an incident where an Ohio court told a teacher that you don't have to have your union dues go for abortion.

Kate Adamson and her husband Steve also joined Janet to discuss the case of a Phoenix area man who woke up from a coma. Kate was also in a coma at one time and was denied food for 8 days, but wasn't able to communicate her needs to doctors.

Kelly Coghlan and Marian Ward were the final guests on this edition of Crosstalk discussing the subject of praying in the name of Jesus at school sporting events. Marian is a 17 year old who was the subject of prayer persecution in just such a case, and Kelly Coghlan was the attorney who defended her.
