Without Senate approval and by his own signature, President Bush recently signed a Transatlantic Economic Integration Agreement with the European Union. This agreement calls for the creation of a Transatlantic Economic Council. It's basically a regulatory convergence partnership designed to make it easier for America to do business with the EU in areas such as intellectual property rights, standards for international trade, radio frequency identification technologies, bio-based products, etc.
Other sovereignty and security topics discussed include: Texas and Oklahoma and their battle with the federal government over the proposed NAFTA Superhighway project, and the illegal alien problem.
