Stem Cell Research Bill Debate

Dr. David Stevens is the Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
The Senate is scheduled to vote next Wednesday on legislation that would mandate federal funding for the destruction of human embryos in the name of science.
This is obviously referring to embryonic stem cell research. Dr. Stevens shows, however, that the greatest amount of success in the stem cell arena is coming from adult stem cell research.
In additon to his description of how embryonic stem cells don't work well, he cites proof in the fact that currently there are zero trials using embryonic stem cells. On the other hand, there are 1,250 trials under way at the present time using adult stem cells.
