Vic opened up this Crosstalk with news that VCY America listeners have given to such a degree, that the amount needed for the Sudan radio tower for the Nehemiah Trumpet Call gospel radio project was exceeded. With the additional funding, there is enough for the purchase of 1,000 solar powered radios.

Other news items discussed included:

-Two Gideon men were arrested, booked into jail, and charged for trespassing because they were handing out Bibles while standing on a public sidewalk adjacent to a Key Largo, Florida, public school. Eventually the charges were dismissed on a motion from the lawyers with the Alliance Defense Fund. They are now being recharged under a different statute.

-Iran and Syria are preparing for what they feel will be a U.S. led war this summer.

-Authorities fear a repeat of the school massacre that shook Russia may be a dress rehearsal for what Al Qaida plans to do in America.

-Nancy Pelosi will tell Syrian leaders that Israel will only engage in peace talks if Syria will stop supporting terrorism.

-Hillary Clinton is said to have raised 36 million dollars for the next presidential election.

-Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson throws his hat in the ring for the presidential race.

-Ex-Bush strategist loses faith in the President.
