Best of Crosstalk (First Aired April 26, 2007)

Ingrid was in a used bookstore recently looking through the Christianity section and she came across a book published in 1937 entitled, Winged Words for Christ by Dr. Walter A. Maier. Dr. Maier was the founding preacher of the Lutheran Hour. Known as the Jeremiah of the 20th century, Dr. Maier preached to an estimated 20 million each week via the radio from 1930 until his death in 1950.

On this Crosstalk Ingrid featured a recording of one of Dr. Maier's sermons from 1937. This 19 minute gem of Christian preaching history is entitled, "Salvation Completed".
