Mat Staver is the Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.
Mat appeared on Crosstalk to report on a case concerning the Largo, Florida, city manager. This manager wants to go through a sex change procedure in order to become, in appearance, a female. After the surgery, he wants to continue with his responsibilities for the city. Because of his decision, the city commission voted 5-2 to begin the legal process of relieving him of his duties.
The second half of the program dealt with the Sudan radio station project discussed on the 3/1 edition of Crosstalk. Of the $65,305 needed, over 10% had already been raised as of broadcast time.
