Sudan Project/German Home School Update/Deerfield, Illinois High School Gay Meeting

Host:Vic Eliason
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Vic Eliason reported that the goal is to have the Crosstalk Sudan tower project wrapped up by the end of the week. As of broadcast time, the amount pledged had increased to $34,642, with an additional $30, 358 still needed.

As first reported on February 9th, Melissa Busekros, a 15 year old girl from Germany, was removed from her home by police officials and social workers who placed her in a psychiatric ward, all for the crime of being home schooled.

In the latest news on this case, a German appeals court has not only affirmed the ruling of a lower court that took Melissa from her family, but also ordered that her family receive psychological examinations. This means the family's five other children are in danger.

Concerned Women for America reports that Deerfield, Illinois High School has required 14 year old freshmen to attend a straight/gay alliance network panel discussion led by gay and lesbian upper classmen. The meeting secretly featured inappropriate discussions of a sexual nature in a promotion of high risk homosexual behaviors.
