Jill Martin Rische is the eldest daughter of the late Christian apologist Dr. Walter Martin and one of the founders of Walter Martin Ministries. Jill is a managing editor for the latest version of her father's classic apologetics work, The Kingdom of the Cults.
Ingrid and Jill point out and discuss numerous points that many people, including many Mormons, don't realize are taught by the Latter Day Saints (LDS) Church. For example:
Mormons are polytheistic and believe they can become god's and goddesses. They view God as an exalted man.
Goddesses will spend eternity in full submission to their god husbands as they forever give birth to spirit-babies. This means that in Mormonism, a woman can never be as valuable as a man.
Many Mormons believe in polygamy and although many others don't practice it, it's still part of LDS canon.
American Indians are descended from the Lamanites who were Israelites that God cursed with dark skin.
Mormons believe that Christ is the spirit brother of Lucifer.
Much of this stems from the fact that Mormons believe in the Bible "insofar as it is correctly translated." Therefore Mormons may feel justified in defending the points listed above because they have extra-biblical sources they rely on such as The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price.
