Dr. Allen Quist is an adjunct professor at Bethany Lutheran College at Mankato, Minnesota. He served three terms in the Minnesota legislature and has authored three books on education.
Beginning with a world education agreement entered into by the U.S. in 1990, and eventually School-to-Work and Goals 2000, we are now looking at the No Child Left Behind Act that is up for reauthorization by Congress this year.
These efforts, with their structural and philosophical tie-in with international treaties, only helps to introduce American children and adults to the values of the United Nations, values that are very different from those espoused by our founding fathers. For example, there is no right to keep and bear arms or freedom of religion within the U.N. Perhaps most important is the fact that the U.N. does not recognize the rights of life, liberty and property as given to us by God.
Also reviewed was the current status of the Sudan radio tower project, a project that was first discussed on the 3/1 edition of Crosstalk. As of the end of this broadcast, the total pledged amounted to $18,582.
