Melissa Busekros, the home school girl from Germany whose situation was discussed on Crosstalk, February 9, 2007, was home schooled after having difficulty with some classes. Eventually she was taken from her home by authorities and placed in a psychiatric ward.
Melissa's father, Hubert Busekros, appeared with Vic Eliason, bringing listeners the latest details on this case.
Also appearing was retired Colonel Ray Moore, Founder and Director of the Exodus Mandate Project.
Ray discussed the necessity for Christian education, both in the form of Christian day schools and Christian home schooling. He also discussed the attrition rate of Christian children from the faith, the teaching of homosexuality in the schools, how teachers with traditional methods are either retiring or facing discrimination, and more.
